Brandon Jacobs Discusses Reduced Role, Again

Stay connected for news and updates

The New York Giants weren't perfect in defeating the Miami Dolphins Sunday, 20-17. But that wasn't what had Giants running back Brandon Jacobs fired up.

Jacobs continued to play a limited role in the offense, and voiced his displeasure after the game.

"I've got nothing positive to say," Jacobs said. "The most positive thing: I got family at home and I got a fast-ass car being delivered on Tuesday. That's it."

Jacobs carried the ball four times for 10 yards and caught one pass for zero yards. He is now averaging fewer than nine carries per game and has been very willing to annouce his displeasure. But after Sunday's game, he wasn't in a very talkative mood.

"Cause I can't say nothing," Jacobs said. "I always say something for everyone else's dislike."
