Eagles vs. Giants score: First quarter ends in 0-0 tie

Sunday night's Week 4 showdown between the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants has reached the end of the first quarter tied at 0-0. A victory would help the Giants (2-1) or Eagles (2-1) earn sole possession of first place in the NFC East Divisions standings.

Giants quarterback Eli Manning has struggled completing just 4 of 11 passes for 35 passing yards. Eagles quarterback Michael Vick hasn't been much better as he's 5-for-9 for 72 yards.

So far only the Eagles have surpassed the 50-yard line, as they will begin the second quarter with the ball on the Giants' 48-yard line facing a 2nd-and-10 situation. Philadelphia's other drives in the first quarter never got any further than its own 42-yard line.

New York twice has reached midfield but were forced to punt both times as they failed to convert on third-down situations. The Giants finished the first quarter with only 12 rushing yards.
