Giants' injury report: Safety Tyler Sash has hamstring injury

Stay connected for news and updates

Safety Tyler Sash, who suffered a pulled hamstring Monday night against the Washington Redskins, is the most serious addition to the New York Giants' injury report for Wednesday as they begin preparations for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints.

Two other additions to the list are linebackers Michael Boley (shoulder) and Chase Blackburn (ankle).

Also included are running back Ahmad Bradshaw (foot), defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul (back), safety Kenny Phillips (knee), wide receiver Domenik Hixon (ankle), linebacker Jacquian Williams (knee) and tight end Travis Beckum (knee).

Sean Locklear, the offensive tackle who will be placed on injured reserve with a season-ending knee injury, is not included on the report. A roster move involving Locklear and a replacement has not yet been announced. Last week the Giants did waive offensive lineman Selvish Capers.

With Sash now injured and Phillips having been limited against Washington by his troublesome knee the Giants could be short-handed at the safety position against Drew Brees and the high-powered New Orleans Saints' passing attack.
