The New York Giants have had a pair of nice scoring drives early, while Corey Webster bounced back from a blown coverage that resulted in a Green Bay touchdown by picking off Aaron Rodgers.
Both teams traded big plays early: the Giants' first drive saw Ahmad Bradshaw turn a short pass from Eli Manning into 59 yards down to the two-yard line, before Andre Brown finished the job. Then the Packers answered back with the Nelson touchdown to tie the score up at 7.
The Giants went three-and-out on the next drive before Green Bay moved into what could have been field goal range. But Chris Canty sacked Rodgers for a loss to make the field goal a 55-yarder, and Mason Crosby was off on the kick, his eighth miss in his last 14 tries. The Giants came back with a nice drive finishing with a pretty lofted pass from Manning to Rueben Randle, and Green Bay's first play after the kickoff was the Webster pick.
