The New York Giants are expected to win comfortably by oddsmakers heading into their matchup with the 0-4 Cleveland Browns.
The New York Giants are expected to easily handle the winless Cleveland Browns, and the G-men opened as nearly two-touchdown favorites in the matchup.
The Browns might be 0-4, but they haven't lost a game by more than ten points yet on the year. The Philadelphia Eagles - who just beat the Giants themselves - needed a late TD score by Michael Vick to win by a single point, while the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals won by only a single touchdown. The close nature of their losses makes it seem inevitable that they'll be able to pull out a win sometime, but the Giants are not the most likely option. The Super Bowl Champions might not seem like the perfect target for a team hoping to beat literally anybody, but New York has looked beatable, dropping a pair of NFC East games to the Eagles and Dallas Cowboys.
The Giants opened as 13-point favorites, but that line quickly came down; now the spread ranges from 7.5 to 10 points, more reasonable considering the Browns' largest margin of defeat wasn't as high as 13. Despite its 0-4 record, Cleveland is actually 2-1-1 against the spread. The over/under is 44, although both teams are 1-3 at hitting the over.
