The NFL announced that Sunday's game between the Giants and Steelers will proceed as scheduled.

Despite Hurricane Sandy causing much damage throughout the Northeast, the NFL says that MetLife Stadium is undamaged and will be prepared to host a Week 9 game between the Giants and Steelers on Sunday as scheduled, according to a report from Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News.

The stadium hosted a Week 8 game on Sunday between the Jets and Dolphins before Hurricane Sandy struck New York and several other states on Monday and Tuesday. However, with possibly damaged infrastructure, the new question could be the difficulty of transportation

The 6-2 Giants have won four straight games and will face the 4-3 Steelers that have won back-to-back games.
