The New York Giants face the Washington Redskins this weekend with the Giants looking for their first NFC East victory of the season.

The New York Giants get their first look at the Robert Griffin III version of the Washington Redskins this Sunday. The Redskins (3-3) will visit MetLife Stadium for a 1 p.m. ET game against the NFC East-leading Giants (4-2).

The Giants are coming off their most impressive victory of the season, a 26-3 battering of the San Francisco 49ers. The Redskins defeated the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, 38-26.

The game has meaning to the Giants for several reasons. New York leads the NFC East, but is already 0-2 in the division with losses to the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles.

"We know we're 4-2 right now, but for us to come in, starting with this week, and get a division win is a step closer for us to put ourselves in position to get to the postseason," said linebacker Michael Boley.

The Giants also made last season difficult on themselves with a pair of losses to the Redskins.

Griffin has completed 113-of-161 passes (70.2 percent) for 1,343 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions. He has rushed for an average of 63.2 yards per game and has a passer rating of 100.5
