The Brooklyn Nets could have a back-up plan in place if they can't make a trade for Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard: sign free-agent center Ersan Ilyasova.

Ilyasova, 25, is reportedly on the Nets' radar as an option for a sign-and-trade deal involving Kris Humphries (via Peter Vecsey's Twitter). Ilyasova averages 9.7 points, 6 rebounds and one assist for his career but his coming off a career year with the Milwaukee Bucks last season. He averaged 13 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 2011-2012. Ilyasova is a 6-foot-9, 235-pound four-year veteran originally from Turkey.

Humphries, who had career-highs last season in points (13.8), rebounds (11.0), assists (1.5) and blocks (1.2) per game. Brooklyn would also likely need to have a third team take Humphries in a trade for Howard.
