NBA Trade Rumors 2012: Steve Nash To Meet With Brooklyn Nets On Monday

Stay connected for news and updates

The Brooklyn Nets will meet with Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash on Monday morning. Nash met with both the Toronto Raptors and New York Knicks on Sunday.

The Nets are reportedly interested in Nash as a replacement or teammate for Deron Williams (via Marc Stein's Twitter). Williams will be meeting with the Mavericks on Monday afternoon before his meeting with the Nets on Monday evening.

Nash is not the only player the Nets have targeted to try to boost their talent level to try to convince Williams to stay in town rather than move close to home in Dallas. Brooklyn has also inquired about Atlanta Hawks guard Joe Johnson, Grizzlies guard O.J. Mayo and Rockets forward Luis Scola. The Nets are also one of three teams in discussions with the Orlando Magic about center Dwight Howard.
