Jason Kidd will consider returning to the Dallas Mavericks next season after testing free agency this summer, he told reporters on Monday, but he's also intrigued by the prospect of joining the Brooklyn Nets.
Asked J Kidd about free agency, he said its early but brought up two teams -- Mavs and Nets. On Nets, re-signing Deron "is the key."

The 39-year old point guard averaged 6.2 points and 5.5 assists while shooting an abysmal 36.3 percent from the field during 48 regular season games with the Mavericks this past season. He has been a starter during his entire 17-year NBA career, but is likely facing a transition to the bench next season.
