Nets Vs. Heat Final Score: New Jersey Falls As Miami Completes Big 4th-Quarter Rally

The New Jersey Nets led for the better part of four quarters over the Miami Heat on Monday night, but LeBron James was simply too good late in the game. He scored Miami's final 17 points, helping the Heat overcome a 96-87 deficit with 2:18 to play to give Miami a 101-98 victory.

The Nets held a three-point lead at halftime and led by as many as 13 points in the third quarter. New Jersey held Miami without a point for a nearly three-minute stretch as the Nets built their lead with strong play from Kris Humphries and Gerald Green in particular.

Humphries finished with a team-high 29 points and eight rebounds, while Green added 15 points all in the second half. MarShon Brooks pitched in 24 points, seven rebounds and six assists, but ultimately it wasn't quite enough for the Nets, who were without Deron Williams.

James finished with 37 points, while Chris Bosh added 22 points and 15 rebounds. Miami was without Dwyane Wade, and no other Miami player finished in double-digits scoring.
