Knicks Vs. Pistons Final Score: New York Beats Up On Detroit, 101-79

The Knicks impressive play under interim head coach Mike Woodson continued on Saturday night, as they clobbered the Pistons 101-79 at home for their sixth win is seven tries under Woodson's watch.

Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler combined for 47 points, while Jeremy Lin - who has been sharp since Woodson took over - finished with 13 points but seven turnovers.

The Knicks took an 11 point lead into halftime and didn't relent in the opening frame of the second half, extending their advantage to 14 heading into the fourth quarter.

Detroit, who remains several games out of the playoff picture, was led by 20 points from Ben Gordon, one of only two Pistons to reach double figure scoring.

New York next plays on Monday night, when they host the Milwaukee Bucks at Madison Square Garden in a critical game for two teams jockeying for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
