Knicks 106, Raptors 87: New York Wins 4th Straight Under Mike Woodson

The New York Knicks continue to play solid ball under interim head coach Mike Woodson, as they defeated the Toronto Raptors 106-87 Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden for their fourth straight win. The Knicks never trailed after the 5:20 mark of the first quarter in their second win over Toronto this season.

Amare Stoudemire led all players with 22 points, adding 12 rebounds to help the Knicks to a 46-30 advantage on the boards. Jeremy Lin also had his seventh double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 assists. Carmelo Anthony added another 17 points and eight rebounds, but shot 5-for-15 from the floor.

The Raptors were led by 17 points from DeMar DeRozan and an 11-point, nine-assist performance from point guard Jose Calderon. They couldn't overcome the Knicks' renewed defensive energy, however, turning the ball over 17 times. New York racked up 12 steals on the night.

The Knicks remain busy this week, with three games still to play. First, New York will face the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night at the Wells Fargo Center in a nationally-televised game on ESPN. After a day off, the Knicks close out the week with a rematch against the Raptors in Toronto before returning home to take on the Detroit Pistons on Saturday.
