VIDEO: Jeremy Lin's Buzzer-Beater Against Toronto Raptors Gives New York Knicks 6th Straight Win

Stay connected for news and updates

The legend of Jeremy Lin grew exponentially on Tuesday night. After Iman Shumpert missed a 17-footer that would have put the New York Knicks up two points with 21 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Tyson Chandler hauled in the rebound and kicked the ball out Shumpert who gave the ball back to Lin at midcourt. Lin held the ball until there were under six seconds remaining on the clock, dribbled up to the 3-point line, and calmly nailed the game-winner in front of a sagging Jose Calderon with .5 seconds left.

Lin scored the final six points of the game for the Knicks. A minute before his last-second heroics, he was fouled by Amir Johnson on a hard drive to the basket. Lin got the bucket and the free throw to tie the game. He finished with 27 points and 11 assists. More importantly, he helped the Knicks to their sixth straight win.
