Brooklyn Nets: GMs say they are NBA's most improved team

The New York Post revealed the annual GM survey Tuesday, and the Nets are predicted to be the most improved team.

NBA general managers believe the Brooklyn Nets will be the league's most improved team, an annual preseason survey has revealed (via the New York Post). The survey, which involved all 30 of the league's GMs, uncovered that Brooklyn should improve on last season's 22-44 record due to its offseason acquisitions.

The Nets spent roughly $300 million to add several players, including guards Deron Williams and Joe Johnson and forwards Gerald Wallace, Mirza Teletovic, Brook Lopez, Reggie Evans and Jerry Stackhouse. The signings were backed by the money of Russian owner Mikhail Prokhorov and made by general manager Billy King, assistant general manager Bobby Marks and head coach Avery Johnson.

The survey also revealed that NBA general managers find the New York Knicks are "fun to watch" while the Miami Heat are the overwhelming favorite to repeat as world champions -- 29 of the 30 general managers picked Miami to win the NBA crown.

Meanwhile, Brooklyn's Reggie Evans tied for third in the tough-guy category while the Knicks' Steve Novak placed third for best pure shooter.
