The Syracuse Orange are one of four schools from New York to reach the NCAA tournament.

The Syracuse Orange are joined by three other schools from the state of New York in the NCAA tournament, with the Orange clocking in as the highest-seeded team of the bunch.

Syracuse is the No. 4 seed in the East region and they will face the No. 13 Montana Grizzlies on Thursday at 9:57 p.m. ET in San Jose, CA. If Syracuse wins against Montana, they will either face the No. 5 UNLV Runnin' Rebels or the No. 12 California Golden Bears in the third round of the tournament.

The other three schools from New York received much lower seeds than the Orange. The No. 15 Iona Gaels will look to upset the No. 2 Ohio St. Buckeyes at 7:15 p.m. ET on Friday in Dayton, Ohio. The Albany Great Danes also earned a No. 15 seed, and they will play the No. 2 Duke Blue Devils on Friday at 12:15 p.m. ET in Philadelphia, PA.

LIU-Brooklyn Blackbirds are the lowest-seeded team from New York at No. 16, and they will play the James Madison Dukes in the first round of the tournament. That game starts at 6:40 p.m. ET on Wednesday, and the winner will face the No. 1 Indiana Hoosiers on Friday at 4:10 p.m. ET in Dayton, OH.
