Braves Vs. Mets Final Score: New York Falls, 3-2, In 10 Innings

The New York Mets fell to the Atlanta Braves, 3-2, in 10 innings on Sunday at Citi Field. The Braves took all three games in the three-game set.

The Mets scored first in the game when Ike Davis' infield single allowed Daniel Murphy to score in the fourth inning. Michael Bourn's RBI single tied the game at 1-1 in the fifth inning. Brian McCann gave the Braves the lead with a solo homer in the sixth inning. David Wright's RBI double in the sixth tied the game. McCann struck again in the 10th inning with a sacrifice fly which scored Martin Prado for the win.

Chris Young got the start for the Mets and went six innings, giving up five hits, four walks and two earned runs. Tommy Hanson started for the Braves and went 5 2/3 innings, giving up four hits and two earned runs. Bobby Parnell picked up the loss for the Mets for giving up two walks, one hit and one earned run in the 10th inning. Craig Kimbrel got the win for the Braves for pitching a scoreless ninth inning. Peter Moylan got the save for the Braves for pitching a scoreless 10th inning.

The Mets (65-75) will begin their next series on Monday at Citi Field against the Washington Nationals (86-54).
