Fijian star Vijay Singh, who will turn 50 next year, has surged into a tie for the lead at the BMW Championship.
Singh, who won the FedEx Cup in 2008, has made six birdies and one bogey today, bringing him to 12 under par.
He is currently tied with Rory McIlroy, who is four under today, and less than half his age.
Both have passed Ryan Moore, who was the early Day 2 leader, but made a costly bogey on the 16th hole, dropping him to 11 under.
Tiger Woods, currently at nine under, has played 11 holes.
Seung-Yul Noh, Lee Westwood, and Bo Van Pelt are all in the hunt at ten under par.
