Jets Roster Moves: Bryan Thomas Re-Signed

Bryan Thomas, who was the longest tenured member of the New York Jets until his release on Saturday, is back with the organization just two days later. Thomas had been dealing with a hamstring injury through the first two weeks of the season and the Jets decided to release him and sign rookie cornerback Donnie Fletcher off the practice squad. Thomas wasn't expected to be on the open market long, with many predicting the Jets would re-sign him on Monday.

But that doesn't mean the veteran linebacker wasn't initially angry. He spoke about being released just a day before the game in Miami (via Connor Orr of The Star-Ledger):

"It's a business, now my main focus is getting back on the field and helping this team win," Thomas said. "At first was I angry? Yeah. It's my job. It's what I've always done all my life. So was I angry? Yeah."

Now back in the fold, Thomas said he would be ready for the Jets' Week 4 game against the 49ers.
