Darrelle Revis Cleared For Practice

Stay connected for news and updates

New York Jets safety Darrelle Revis was fully cleared for contact on Thursday and will be participating in practice for the first time since sustaining a concussion in Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills.

The injury was sustained when Revis was inadvertently kicked in the head by teammate Bart Scott while pursuing Bills running back C.J. Spiller. The All-Pro corner stated that in the following days he felt like he was in a "fog" and that he would allow the team's doctors to determine when he could return to action.

Despite being cleared for physical activity last Wednesday, Revis was forced to miss Week 2's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. His status for Sunday's meeting with the Miami Dolphins has yet to be determined.
