Giants Vs. Panthers 2012: Game Preview, Kickoff Time, TV Schedule And More

It's two-time Super Bowl winner Eli Manning vs. 2011 Rookie of the Year, Cam Newton on Thursday Night Football. The Thursday night matchup between the New York Giants and Carolina Panthers pits two of the best quarterbacks in the game against one another. The clear contrast in QB styles should make football fans very excited and this game, very interesting.

The Giants enter the game at 2-0 and are coming off a 41-34 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers which saw Manning throw for 510 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions. The Panthers come in at 1-1 this season after defeating the New Orleans Saints in the Superdome last Sunday.

The Giants will be without wide receivers Hakeem Nicks (foot) and Domenik Hixon (concussion), running back Ahmad Bradshaw (neck) and offensive tackle David Diehl (knee).
