New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan said on Wednesday that Darrelle Revis has been cleared for practice, but not for contact. So the star cornerback is limited in practice until cleared by a team physician and an independent neurological consultant.
Among those sidelined Wednesday is tight end Dustin Keller who is suffering with a hamstring that kept him sidelined against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.Fullback John Conner (right knee), linebacker Bryan Thomas (hamstring) and safety Eric Smith (hip, knee) missed practice due to their respective injuries.
The Jets (1-1) face the Miami Dolphins on Sunday following a disappointing 27-10 loss to the Steelers this past week. The Dolphins are 1-1 coming off a 35-13 blowout against the Oakland Raiders, after losing big to the Houston Texans in their season opener.
