Toronto Blue Jays at New York Yankees -- 7 p.m. (TV: MY9): Andy Pettitte (3-3) returns to the mound after a fractured left ankle kept him on the disable list for more than two months. The Yankees (83-63) have a 1/2-game lead over the Baltimore Orioles in the AL East Division.
Philadelphia Phillies at New York Mets -- 7 p.m. (TV:SNY): The Mets will try to play spoiler to the Phillies, who are 3 1/2 games behind the St. Louis Cardinals for the National League's second Wild Card spot. New York's Matt Harvey (3-5) will make his final start of the season when he squares off against Tyler Cloyd (1-1).
Women's National Basketball Association
New York Liberty at San Antonio Silver Stars -- 8 p.m. (TV: ESPN2): The Liberty (14-17) could clinch a playoff berth with a victory over the Silver Stars and a Chicago loss to Seattle.
Triple-A League Baseball
Pawtucket Red Sox vs. Reno Aces -- 7 p.m. (TV:NBC Sports Network): The Governer's Cup champion faces the Pacific Coast League champion at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
