Darrelle Revis Officially Out For Jets-Steelers Game

Stay connected for news and updates

Following mixed reports throughout the week, the New York Jets and coach Rex Ryan have officially ruled Darrelle Revis out for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Revis has been unable to practice all week as he continues to suffer symptoms from a possible concussion he sustained last weekend against the Buffalo Bills.

The All-Pro corner was medically cleared to resume physical activities on Wednesday, and stretched with the team. However, he was never cleared to resume practice.

During Sunday's victory against the Bills, Revis accrued four tackles and an interception.

Kyle Wilson, in his third year with the Jets, is likely to fill in for Revis. Wilson, like Revis, was selected by the New York Jets in the first round of the NFL draft.
