Marian Gaborik Progressing After Offseason Shoulder Surgery

Stay connected for news and updates

New York Rangers forward Marian Gaborik stated that he was feeling healthy after participating in an informal workout with teammates on Tuesday. Gaborik is still recovering from shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum, which was performed in early June after the Rangers were eliminated by the New Jersey Devils in the Eastern Conference Finals.

While Gaborik isn't able to participate in contact drills or shoot the puck with the same fervor he is used to, the 30-year-old goal-scorer is pleased with the progress he has made thus far.

Gaborik played in all 82 games last season, registering 41 goals and 35 assists for 76 points.
