Syracuse Basketball Schedule 2012: Orange To Visit Georgetown For ESPN's College GameDay

Slowly the Syracuse Orange's men's basketball schedule for the 2012-13 season is taking form, as Wednesday 'Cuse hoops fans learned when the last Big East Conference showdown against long-time rival Georgetown will be -- March 9 at noon ET on ESPN (via @PSBasketball).

The game, which will be played at the Verizon Center, will be a part of ESPN's College GameDay weekly tour.

All-time, Syracuse owns a 48-39 record against its Washington D.C. rivals. For those curious, here's an update on Syracuse's basketball schedule:

Nov. 9: at San Diego St. Aztecs (Battle of the Midway -- on the aircraft carrier USS Midway).
Nov. 30: at Arkansas Razorbacks (SEC-Big East Challenge)
Dec. 6: vs. Long Beach St. 49ers
Dec. 12: vs. Temple Owls (Gotham Classic at Madison Square Garden)
Dec. 31: vs. Central Connecticut State
March 9: at Georgetown Hoyas (ESPN GameDay)
