2012 Barclays Purse: Nick Watney Earns $1.44 Million For Victory

Nick Watney's come-from-behind win Sunday at the Barclays netted him $1.44 million of the tournament's $8 million dollar purse. Watney fired a 2-under, 69 on Sunday to finish at 10-under for the tournament and three shots better than the next closest competitor.

Brandt Snedeker earned a very respectable $864,000 for finishing second and was followed by Sergio Garcia and Dustin Johnson who tied for third place and earned $464,000. Garcia entered Sunday's round with the lead but shot a 4-over, 75 in the final round.

Tiger Woods disastrous final round cost him a big pay day as he took home just $32,000. Woods began the day seven shots off the lead but tumbled to a 38th place finish after a 5-over, 76. Woods however maintains his spot at the top of the PGA tour money list for the season.
