Wayne Hunter might be losing ground in his effort to keep the starting right tackle job with the New York Jets.
Hunter's poor play has been targeted as one of the reasons the Jets have scored only nine points in the preseason and are the only NFL team without a touchdown.
Head coach Rex Ryan has denied that the team is looking to replace Hunter.
"If there is something out there, at this time people are looking to move a player or this player, but right now to say that we are in the market for a starting right tackle, I don’t believe that to be an accurate statement," Ryan said earlier this week.
The Jets surrendered seven sacks last Saturday in a preseason game against the New York Giants.
