New York Yankees' pitcher Iova Nova has struggled to find consistency lately, and after dropping Game 1 of a three-game series against the Chicago White Sox Monday night, the Yankees hope their youngster can find his rhythm Tuesday, when they face off in the second of a three-game set at U.S. Cellular Field (8:10 p.m. ET on MY9).
Nova (11-6) and the Yankees are each looking for a bonce-back performance as the lefty allowed four earned runs in just 5 2/3 innings in his last start, while New York was roughed up in a 9-6 loss on Monday.
Meanwhile, Nova's opponent on the mound, Francisco Liriano (1-0), is coming off a strong outing against the Toronto Blue Jays. The performance was good enough to help the lefty earn his first win in a White Sox uniform.
