The individual all-around portion of the 2012 London Olympics men's gymnastics competition has finished, and Bronx, NY native John Orozco disappointingly just missed out on earning a medal, finishing in eighth place. Overall, Japan's Kohei Uchimura earned the gold medal with a total score of 92.690, finishing ahead of Germany's Marcel Nguyen and the United States' Danell Leyva, who earned silver and bronze medal, respectively.
Orozco's best performances come on the floor and rings, where he finished third in both events. However, in the other four events Orozco finished no better than eight -- the lowest being 23rd on the pommel horse.
As for Leyva, he made a nice charge up the standings and put pressure on Uchimura after a solid performance on the horizontal bar, but he fell just short.
