The St. John's Red Storm dropped the second game of their three-game series with the Arizona Wildcats in the Super Regional Round, and are now officially eliminated from the 2012 NCAA Baseball Tournament, not advancing to the College World Series.

St. John's had a nice run. They advanced from the Chapel Hill Regional as the third seed.

The Red Storm lost the first game to Arizona by a final score of 7-6 and failed to extend the series to three games on Saturday, when they dropped game two by a final score of 7-4. St. John's finishes the season 40-23 overall.

St. John's starting pitcher, Sean Hagan, struggled with control all day, as he walked seven batters and allowed four earned runs in six innings pitched.

The full tournament bracket is available at the official NCAA site.
