The New York Knicks will be looking to give former Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash a call when free agency opens on Saturday night, according to a report from Frank Isola of the New York Daily News.
With Baron Davis out for the year after surgery on his knee and Mike Bibby's future unknown, Nash would be a perfect signing for the Knicks in upgrading the point guard position. Nash would be a veteran leader in the locker room and has a good relationship with Knicks forward Amare Stoudemire from when they played together in Phoenix.
Along with the Knicks, Isola is reporting that the Toronto Raptors and the Suns are the other major players for Nash's services next year.
