2012 NCAA Baseball Tournament: Army Vs. Virginia Suspended Due To Rain

The Army Black Knights will have to wait until Saturday to finish their game against the No. 1 seed Virginia Cavaliers in the 2012 NCAA Baseball Tournament. Heavy rain caused the first game of the Charlottesville Regional to be suspended until Saturday at 1 p.m.

The game is currently tied at 0-0 in the bottom of the first inning. Army stranded two runners in the top of the first inning. Virginia's lead-off man got a walk in the bottom of the first inning. Virginia has no outs and a man batting with a 1-1 count.

Here is the updated schedule for the Charlottesville Regional:

Saturday, June 2
Game 1 - No. 1 Virginia vs. No. 4 Army, 1 p.m.
Game 2 - No. 2 Oklahoma vs. No. 3 Appalachian State, 6 p.m.

Sunday, June 3
Game 3 - Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2, 11 a.m.
Game 4 - Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2, 3 p.m.
Game 5 - Winner Game 3 vs. Loser Game 4, 7 p.m.

Monday, June 4
Game 6 - Winner Game 5 vs. Winner Game 4, 4 p.m.
Game 7 - Winner Game 6 vs. Loser Game 6 (if necessary), 50 minutes after conclusion of Game 6
