Jeremy Lin is doubtful to return to the New York Knicks lineup Wednesday against the Miami Heat in Game 5 of their NBA playoff series. At least that is what Knicks coach Mike Woodson keeps telling people.
↵Opinion vary wildly on whether Lin, out since March 24 after having surgery on a torn meniscus, should try to play Wednesday with the Knicks trailing 3-1 and facing elimination in their best-of-seven series.
↵I expressed mine -- that Lin should not play -- on Monday. Will Leicht of New York Magazine believes Lin should play. Ric Bucher of ESPN believes it is "95 percent certain" Lin will play because the Knicks organization is "putting a tremendous amount of pressure on him." If the recent hyperbole from Al Trautwig of MSG Network is any indication, Bucher might have a point.
