2012 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament, Loyola Vs. Canisius: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The Canisius Griffins look to topple the No. 1 Loyola Greyhounds on the road Saturday evening in the first round of the 2012 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament. (Game Time: 5 p.m. ET, TV Schedule: ESPN U, ESPN 3)

Canisius earned the program's second berth in the NCAA tournament by upsetting top-seeded Siena to win the MAAC Championship. Senior Jimmy Haney was named MAAC Tournament MVP after having nine goals and eight assists in the two-game tournament.

The Griffins will be looking to make history for their conference: No MAAC team has ever earned an NCAA tournament victory. Entering Saturday's contest, the conference is 0-10 in tournament play.

Saturday's game will be the first ever meeting between Canisius and Loyola. Canisius is 2-24 all-time against ECAC opponents. Loyola won the ECAC tournament.
