2012 Northeast Conference Basketball Tournament: Robert Morris Trying To Come Back In Style

Stay connected for news and updates

Even though Brooklyn, Long Island is likely going to defeat Robert Morris in their Wednesday night Northeast Conference Tournament, as they lead 76-62 with just a few minutes left to play, Robert Morris is going to win the game when it comes to style points.

At the halfway point of the second half, down by a score of 57-45, Robert Morris guard Velton Jones found Mike McFadden for a nice alley-oop. That may not sound like a very big deal, but since Jones hadn't even made it to half court yet, it is kind of a big deal.

Witnes the awesomeness:

It would be hard to find a better or longer distance alley-oop in any other game, which proves that talent doesn't just exist at the Division 1 level.

The winner of this game gets a ticket punched for the NCAA tournament as this is the tournament's title game.
