Bracketology 2012: Seton Hall Basketball Still In NCAA Tournament Field Entering Big East Tournament

Stay connected for news and updates

The Seton Hall Pirates men's basketball program's attempt to solidify the NCAA Tournament will begin Tuesday, when they face the Providence Friars in the first round of the Big East Conference Tournament at Madison Square Garden (7 p.m. on ESPNU).

The Pirates enter the contest needing a victory that would help them get off the March Madness bubble. As of Tuesday, Bracketologist have Seton Hall making 68-team field, however, all that could change if the No. 15-seeded Friars upset the No. 10 Pirates.

Seton Hall's Precarious NCAA Tournament Position

Here's a composite look at what the Bracketologists are projecting for Seton Hall basketball entering Big East Tournament play on Tuesday:

SB Nation's Dobbertean: No. 12 seed vs. UNLV
SI.com's Glockner: No. 12 vs. No. 5 Cheighton Blue Jays
CollegeHoops.net: No. 12
ESPN's Lunadri: No. 12, first-round contest vs. No. 12 Xavier Musketeers
