Stay connected for news and updates

The New York Red Bulls have started the 2012 MLS season 0-2, with losses to Real Salt Lake – arguably the best team in the league – and FC Dallas. They currently reside in ninth place in the Eastern Conference.

On Sunday the Red Bulls will play their home opener against the Colorado Rapids, who are 2-0 on the season. The game is scheduled for 4 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and ESPN3.

Two players will be suiting up for the Red Bulls for the first time during the 2012 season on Sunday. Midfielder, Ryan Maduro, was signed earlier this week and defender/midfielder, Rafa Marquez, has served his three-game suspension.

The Rapids are 0-2-1 all time in games played at Red Bull Arena.
