2012 NCAA Hockey Tournament: Union Vs. UMass-Lowell Second Period Score, Dutchmen Up 3-1

Through two periods of second round play in the East Regional, top-seeded Union leads UMass-Lowell 3-1, behind a late period power play goal to give the Dutchmen a two score pad.

Jeremy Walsh gave Union a two goal lead 7:27 into the second period on an even strength goal assisted by Daniel Carr and Josh Jooris. The River Hawks narrowed the deficit later in the period on a Terrance Wallin score, but Jooris lit the lamp one more time for the Dutchmen later in the period on a power play score.

Union continues to control the pace and tempo of the game, outshooting Union 27-12 through forty minutes of play.
