NIT Tournament 2012 Bracket: Semifinal Matchups All Set

The semifinal round matchups are all set in the 2012 National Invitation Tournament. Stanford and Minnesota both won on Wednesday night to advance.

UMass will face Stanford in their semifinal game scheduled for Tuesday, March 27. Minnesota will face Washington on the same day. The winners of those two games will face off in the NIT championship game on Thursday, March 29.

Stanford had no problems getting past the Nevada Wolf Pack, beating them by a final score of 84-56. Minnesota and Mid Tennessee played a much closer game. The Golden Gophers hit 11 of their last 12 free throws in a 78-72 win.

UMass beat Drexel on Tuesday to advance to the semifinals. Washington beat Oregon on Tuesday to advance.
