The Manhattan Jaspers and Albany Great Danes meet Wednesday night in the first round of the 2012 CollegeInsider.com Tournament (CIT Tournament).
Manhattan registered the biggest turnaround in the NCAA this season, finishing with 14 more wins than last year's 6-25 team. The Jaspers' 20-12 record in Steve Masiello's first year as head coach represents just the 11th 20-win season in the program's history.
Albany finished fourth in the America East, but lost to top-seeded Stony Brook in the first round of the conference tournament. The Great Danes are powered by a high-octane offense, which led the America East in points per game, shooting percentage, three-point shooting percentage and free throw percentage.
