It's No. 1 vs. No. 2 for the America East title.
The top-seeded Stony Brook Seawolves meet second-seeded Vermont on Saturday morning at Stony Brook Arena at 11 a.m. (ESPN 2), with the conference's automatic NCAA tournament berth on the line.
Stony Brook advanced to the finals by edging Albany 57-55 in the semifinals on March 4. Dallis Joyner scored a tip-in as time expired to finish the victory, which was Stony Brook's fifth straight and 13th in its last 14 outings.
Vermont's conference tournament began last Saturday with a comfortable win against Maine and continued the following day with a 77-73 double overtime win against Hartford. The Catamounts have also won 13 out of 14.
The two foes spit their regular season series with each team winnings at home. Vermont leads the all-time series 18-6.
