Chandler Jones, a defensive end prospect from the Syracuse Orange football program, is schedule to go through workouts Monday at the 2012 NFL Combine. Jones, a possible first-round selection, will try to improve his draft stock by going through defensive lineman drills, lifting heavy weights on the bench press and showing off his agility in both the shuttle run and 40-yard dash.

Since arriving Friday, Jones (6-foot-5, 265 pounds) has been interviewed and looked at by NFL front-office brass and now finally gets his chance to display his physical talents.

Also doing workouts will be Rutgers Scarlet Knights defensive tackle prospect Justin Francis (6-2, 270), who's trying to improve his draft status. Francis is currently seen as a possible seventh-round selection by NFLDraftScout.com.

Meanwhile, Jones' former teammate, defensive back Phillip Thomas, will be going through NFLPA meetings, psychological testing and interviews with possible future employers.

Here's the NFL Combine's day six schedule:

  • DB: NFLPA meeting, psychological testing, interviews
