2012 NFL Combine Results: Mohamed Sanu's Official Numbers Reveal Strength, Explosiveness

Mohamed Sanu's official 2012 NFL Combine workout numbers have been posted, and the wide receiver prospect from the Rutgers Scarlet Knights football program had his 40-yard dash time go from an unofficial 4.65 seconds to an official 4.67. However, despite a slower 40-time, Sanu rebounded with strong performances in other workouts.

Sanu, a possible first-round selection in April's NFL Draft, did have solid bench press (19 reps of 250-pounds), broad jump (10-feet, 6-inches) and three-cone drill (6.88 seconds) numbers.

Overall, Sanu posted the sixth-most bench press reps for all wide receivers, while finishing in a tie for fourth in the broad jump and a tie for 10th in the three-cone drill. All these drills showcase Sanu's explosiveness and ability to change direction with ease.

So, Sanu's straight-line speed may not have impressed scouts or NFL front-office brass Sunday, but if they're looking for a guy to can work the slot or has the strength to catch the ball in traffic, it seems as if Sanu is your guy.
