The Knicks and Nets will be in action on Christmas Day.

Both New York area NBA teams will be on display on Christmas Day. The New York Knicks will be on the West Coast to take on the Los Angeles Lakers while the Brooklyn Nets will host the Boston Celtics at the Barclays Center.

The Nets and Celtics start the NBA Christmas Day action at noon Eastern. The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN and locally on YES. The Atlantic Division leading Knicks will play the Lakers at 3 p.m. Eastern time at the Staples Center. The game will be nationally televised on ABC. When the Knicks and Lakers met on Dec. 13 at Madison Square Garden, the Knicks won 116-107. Kobe Byrant had 31 points and 10 rebounds for the Lakers while Carmelo Anthony's 30 points led the Knicks.
