Wagner heads across the country to face Eastern Washington in a second-round NCAA battle.
The Wagner Seahawks visit the Eastern Washington Eagles with a trip to the NCAA FCS quarterfinals on the line on Saturday. Wagner notched their first-ever playoff win last weekend when they took down Colgate. The Seahawks now face a rested Eastern Washington squad, the No. 2 overall seed in the tournament.
Wagner is riding a nine-game winning streak coming into their tilt with Eastern Washington. The school received the automatic bid out of the NEC, and become the first team in the conference's history to win an NCAA tournament game.
Eastern Washington is one of three Big Sky teams in the field, and finished in a three-way tie atop the Big Sky with Cal Poly and Montana State. The Eagles were able to come out on top by virtue of wins over both those teams during the course of the season. Overall, the Eagles are 9-2 with their losses coming by a combined seven points.
Saturday will mark the first time the two schools have met in football.
Game time, TV schedule: 6 p.m. ET, ESPN3
