Has Fireman Ed extinguished his love for the Jets?

Fireman Ed - Debby Wong-US PRESSWIRE

Has Fireman Ed had it with the bumbling New York Jets? Maybe so.

Per ESPNNewYork.com, we learned Friday that Ed Anzalone, the most famous New York Jets fan in America, might've reached his breaking point during Thursday night's 49-19 shellacking to the New England Patriots.

It got so bad for Fireman Ed that he left at halftime. And it turns out that his Twitter account was deactivated during the game, something that didn't go unnoticed by former Jets nose tackle Kris Jenkins.

"Fireman Ed deleted his account?" Jenkins tweeted. "Wow thought he was a diehard fan? Guess he went back to the Dolphins."

We'll see what happens. Can you really blame the guy if he's looking for a new team, though?
