Colgate vs. Wagner 2012: Preview and TV schedule

Jeff Hanisch-US PRESSWIRE

The Colgate Raiders and Wagner Seahawks will clash at Wagner College Stadium to decide who will move on in the FCS playoff bracket.

After a successful regular season for both the Colgate Raiders (8-3) and the Wagner Seahawks (8-3), the two teams will clash on Saturday at Wagner College Stadium in the first round of the FCS playoffs. The winner will move on to the second round, where Eastern Washington University awaits, while the other will find a bittersweet end to the season.

Wagner University finds themselves in the playoffs after rattling off eight straight wins, helping the team win their first Northeast Conference championship in school history. Known for their defense, the Seahawks have not faced an opponent like the Colgate Raiders, who feature a high octane offense.

Colgate enters the first round playoff game having won seven straight games, but it is the way they have done it that makes it so impressive. The Raiders have yet to score fewer than 30 points in a game and have scored 40 or more points seven times this season.

Date and Time: Saturday, Nov. 24, 12:00 p.m. ET

Location: Wagner College Stadium, Staten Island, New York

TV: ESPN3/Watch ESPN
