Nets-Clippers Score: Brooklyn rides big 4th quarter to 86-76 win over Los Angeles

A late 12-0 Brooklyn run pulled the Nets over the Clippers. Brook Lopez scored 26 points to lead Brooklyn.

Brook Lopez scored 26 points, including four in a row as the Clippers pulled to within three late in the fourth quarter, and the Brooklyn Nets defeated the Los Angeles Clippers, 86-76, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The Clippers held a seven-point lead at halftime, but got cold as the Nets eliminated the lead to tie it at the end of the third quarter. The game was tied, 74-74, with 3:58 to go in the fourth quarter, but Lopez scored two consecutive baskets, sparking Brooklyn to a 12-0 run and putting the game out of reach.

The Clippers, who shot only 40% for the game and 24% from three, were led by Chris Paul's 14 points and nine assists. Blake Griffin added 14, Jamal Crawford had 13 and DeAndre Jordan scored 12 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. For Brooklyn, Joe Johnson complimented Lopez with 19 points. Deron Williams chipped in 11 points and eight assists. The win for the Nets improves their record to 7-4, and the Clippers drop to 8-4.
