Injuries have been a weekly issue for the New York Jets and their coaching staff to manage through, including this week where 19 players have been listed on the team's injury report as the Jets prepare for their game against the St. Louis Rams on Sunday.
Five of the 19 are listed as questionable for Sunday's game, headlined by wide receiver Jeremy Kerley for the offense and linebacker Bart Scott on the defensive side.
After fully participating in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, Kerley did not practice on Friday because of a bothersome heel/hamstring injury. Meanwhile, Bart Scott's lingering toe injury forced the veteran linebacker into limited participation in practice this week.
Several other key players found themselves on Friday's injury report, but are probable to play on Sunday. That includes quarterback Mark Sanchez (back) and center Nick Mangold (ankle/thumb), both of whom participated in practice fully this week.
Opposing the Jets on Sunday will be the St. Louis Rams, who only have a few injury concerns they will need to work through. The team listed just four players on Friday's injury report, including linebacker Mario Haggan, and all four are questionable for the game.
